Interdisciplinary Thinking on Instructional Design for Distance Learning in Interior Design and Architecture Programs”

The transition of educational process from physical classroom learning to distance learning around the world recently has led to restructuring the instructional design of distance learning in higher education. The nature of architecture and interior design programs demands interdisciplinary thinking to overcome the challenges particularly in practical courses. The Architectural and Interior Design Engineering department in Gulf University conducted one day online symposium to exchange the experience and knowledge in the instructional design, teaching, assessment for distance learning in interior design and architecture programs. 17 speakers from different universities around world have participated in the IDE symposium.
