Dean’s Message

Welcome to the College of Engineering at Gulf University. The college consists of three departments. The Architectural and Interior Design Engineering department, which offers a bachelor’s degree program in “Interior Design Engineering” which is the first and unique program of its kind in Bahrain comes with the engineering title. The other two engineering departments, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering departments, offer two bachelor’s degree programs in collaboration with the well-known University of Northampton in the UK. The college provides practical modern laboratories, workshops, and studios with different types of equipment, software, and other required facilities serving the programs. The College of Engineering seeks to develop the infrastructure in line with the requirements of the labor market in Bahrain and looking forward to uniting with the industry in order to develop curricula and research in the field of exchanging engineering expertise to contribute to community service development. Based on the university’s strategic plan, the College of Engineering is keen on further development to offer more engineering programs in various engineering fields and degrees, in cooperation with prestigious international universities. Students who graduate from our program will become highly talented, technically competent, innovative and creative engineers capable of leading positive changes in their local and global surroundings.
