The Media and Public Relations Department at Gulf University was established in the fall semester of 2009 in response to the needs of the Bahraini community and its institutions’ keeping pace with the Gulf, Arab, and international interest in media studies.
The Media and Public Relations Department has gone through several stations since its inception until now. It has been developed in line with the latest teaching and training trends in the Arab world. The department seeks to be an effective center in terms of updated curriculum, scientific research, and community engagement, locally and regionally.
The Media and Public Relations department enables students to explore media-related issues from many points of view with the aim of instilling a creative thought process requiring critical thinking and updated professional skills. This perspective will enable the graduates to compete in the labor market and participate effectively in sustainable development.
