The Interior Design Engineering program has organized a site visit to “the EUREKA -Violet Smart Living – Residential Building/ Amwaj Island” as part of the Smart and Sustainable Interiors course supervised by Dr. Omar Blibech on 16/11/2022. The aim of this visit is to explore real-life projects of smart and sustainable technologies within interior-built environments like smart devices and appliances. Also, it increases students’ knowledge about the implementation of smart technologies in their design projects. The interior design engineering program at Gulf University is the first program to have an engineering title and has gained national accreditation from BQA and international accreditation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET-UK).
