Student Projects

In this project, the student Gayth Yunis, in his first year of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Gulf University, used Arduino and the sensor DHT11, which is designed to measure the humidity and temperature of a given area. The measured values are displayed on an LCD screen. We can adjust the brightness of the screen with the potentiometer.

All in all, the Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a great device to measure temperature and humidity in any given environment. With its easy-to-use interface, robust design, and reliable reading accuracy, it makes taking accurate readings a breeze. Whether you’re using this to keep track of the weather in your area or to measure the temperature inside your home, the Temperature and Humidity Sensor is the perfect device for the job.

Student Projects

The student’s Projects in the Interior Design Engineering Program, at Gulf University, reflect their excellence and their ability to provide innovative design and engineering solutions to achieve the program outcomes. The Projects are considered as a comprehensive assignment on a topic related to the program specialisation and involve out-of-class research and development. The department is very keen to invite external jury members from the academic and industry to reflect the views of other best practices and real-life professional experience.

An Interior Design engineer who will be graduated from GU is considered a key member of the teamwork, contributing to the holistic space, technical and engineering design solutions of interiors by developing schematic design and interior construction documents such as working drawings, engineering and technology solutions for buildings services, shop drawing, technical details, plans, sections, installation, executions and production details, bill of quantities, estimated cost, materials’ specifications and project management.
