Engineering students embarked on a fascinating site visit to the Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA) facility. The visit, organized by the College of Engineering for the Mechanical Engineering Students and Electrical & Electronic Engineering aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to industrial operations and practical applications of engineering principles.
During the ALBA site visit, students had the unique opportunity to witness the state-of-the-art technology and processes employed in the production of aluminum. They were guided through various areas of the facility, including the smelting operations, casting lines, and quality control laboratories, allowing them to observe the entire aluminum production cycle.
