The College of Engineering Students enrolled in the UON new programs — Mechanical Engineering (BEng), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (BEng) — along with the Interior Design Engineering Program, organized a site visit to the Fab Lab Bahrain. The aim was to develop students’ knowledge and skills by introducing them to different types of Engineering Machines and their applications such as CAD, CAM, CNC Machines, Milling and Lathe Machines, and Laser Cutter Machine. Students also explored Electronic Soldering Tools and the Repair workshop, and participated in creating 3D objects as the first step of design. The visit was supervised by Dr. Osama Al-Rawi, Dean of the College of Engineering.
