Program Aims

The PhD in Business Management aims to:

  • Equip students with detailed and critical knowledge of Business Management in order to develop and apply innovative theories, frameworks, and practices in addressing complex and evolving business challenges.
  • Promote rigorous independent research that generates original contributions to knowledge and practice in business, management, and leadership, consistent with international doctoral standards and aligned with societal and industrial needs.
  • Enhance students’ ability to critically evaluate theories, synthesize data, and apply advanced analytical and strategic thinking to solve novel and uncertain problems within dynamic organizational contexts.
  • Instill strong principles of ethics, sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance among graduates to lead responsibly across diverse sectors and contribute to the wellbeing of mankind.
  • Encourage collaborative research and engagement with academic, professional, and governmental institutions regionally and globally, fostering interdisciplinary inquiry and enhancing the impact and relevance of research.
