Teaching & Learning Statement

Dr. Qais Ahmed involves students in understanding the current real-world situations in every course he teaches. He focuses on the relevance and usefulness of the course material. For instance, he always rises up some current cases and issues at the beginning of each course which somehow can be solved and discussed at the end of the course. Therefore, students can be part of these issues and try to solve it after they gain the proper knowledge during the class.

Experience

Dr. Qais is an assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Gulf University. He is also director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Gulf University. He got awarded the best researcher in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 at Gulf University. He was academic consultant and Program leader for Postgraduate Centre at Limkokwing University as well as Lecturer at LINCOLN University, Malaysia. He had supervised on 70 postgraduate students (Master, Ph.D). In Industry, he has experience 13 years in Oil and Gas sector in Yemen for both personnel and financial affairs.

Research Interest

Dr. Qais's research interests focus on Human Resource Management, International HRM, Human Resource Development, Organizational Behavior, Research Method, International Marketing, Academic paper in Management at the workplace.
