
Gulf University's Community Engagement and Continuing Education Center partnered with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation to participate in a Diabetes Day Race. The event occurred on November 16th, 2024, at Water Garden City under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
The race aimed to generate awareness and financial support for the Insulin Pumps Project, which assists children living with type 1 diabetes. The university's involvement demonstrated its dedication to community outreach and social responsibility initiatives.
The participation brought together students, staff, and community members around a common objective: enhancing the wellbeing of affected children.
