Gulf University partnered with the Torch of Love and Peace Association to commemorate the International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21. The celebration, held under the banner "Planting a Culture of Peace," formed part of the university's Sustainability Week activities.

Attiyatullah Rouhani, president of the Torch of Love and Peace Association, stressed that "promoting peace, especially among younger generations" remains essential for building harmonious communities. He acknowledged Bahrain's leadership commitment to fostering religious tolerance and cultural coexistence.

Prof. Muhannad Al-Mashhadani, Gulf University's president, acknowledged the nation's peaceful vision and underscored how educational institutions advance these principles. The event highlighted how community partnerships and peace-building efforts support sustainable development and social stability.

Organizers emphasized that education and public awareness serve as foundations for nurturing responsible citizenship and fostering mutual respect within society.
