Gulf University - Sanad:
Gulf University has launched its annual ‘Iftar Saem’ initiative as part of its policy of encouraging students to volunteer and engage in charitable work to instill values of social responsibility.
The initiative was attended by more than 20 students from various academic programs at Gulf University in the preparation and processing of more than 250 meals, which will be distributed in traffic light stops on Istiqlal street- Sanad.
The President of Gulf University, Dr. Muhannad Al-Mashhadani, thanked the Office of Media and International Relations for organizing this initiative. He also thanked the students for their active participation and positive impact especially that the initiative coincided with the holy month of Ramadan.
‘We thank Gulf University for setting up this unique initiative that will develop the spirit of volunteering among students and encourage them to participate in students’ activities," said Hassan Bahr, a student of the Human Resources Management Program.
The initiative is part of a series of charitable initiatives that contribute to serving the local community and that aims at promoting Islamic values and the spirit of cooperation and brotherhood among the members of society.
