The Gulf University is set to launch its first International Conference on Human Resource Management on 29th & 30th of November,2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be held remotely via Zoom, under the patronage of the Chairperson Board of Trustees, Gulf University, Prof. Mona Rashid Al Zayani. Well known Researchers and HRM specialists around the world will participate and will enlighten the forum with their valuable work in this field.
On this auspicious occasion, the President of the Gulf University, Dr Mohanad Al-Mashadani stated: “We truly endorse research culture in our university and aim to strengthen the research environment through international collaborations and conferences to exchange novel ideas and experiences with the entire world. Our objective is to portray a positive and progressive image of the distinguished research environment that exists in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in our Higher Education Institutions. This research environment will be a step forward in enhancing and supporting the national strategy for scientific research launched by the Higher Education Council”.
Al-Mashhadani further added; “this conference will be filled with diversity as the contributors and researchers from the local, regional and international society are participating, therefore, the most recent researches and issues in the field of HRM will come into light.
Al Mashadani pointed out that ‘I am glad that The Gulf University is at its best to add its share in the research and development, even in this time of pandemic. This conference on Human Resource Management is second in line with the first held in October,2020 on Digital Media and the next is coming up in December 2020 on Interior Design Engineering.
The Chair of University Research Council, Dr.Tamer Alkadash, also elucidated that the conference will be extended over two consecutive days and the key areas would be Human Resource Management in Multinational Companies, Ethical and Legal Issues in HRM, International approaches and practices of this field, the relation of culture & society with human resources, labour laws to name a few.
It is noteworthy that the Gulf University has institutional accreditation as well as all of its academic programs are accredited by the Education and Training Quality Authority Bahrain (BQA).
