Teaching and Learning Statement:
Dr. Aseel’s teaching philosophy relies on helping students develop their intellectual, practical and creative potential to encourage their personal development. Her teaching puts the learner at the center. She uses a variety of different teaching styles and learning activities, depending on the type of course. To generate a yearning for knowledge she thinks that it is important for teachers to convey their own enthusiasm for a subject to make the courses more interesting, because most courses she teaches include theoretical and practical materials and they consist on lecturing for four to five hours therefore the learning activities should be varied to make lectures as interactive as possible.
